Our Chiropractors

Kathryn Volker – MSc(Chiro), Dr. of Chiropractic

Kathryn is the Clinic Director of Chirozone and specialises in chiropractic care. She firmly believes that patient-centred health should be the focus of the clinic and this is reflected in the overall delivery and range of care offered at Chirozone.
Kathryn holds an MSc (Chiro) and graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 2001. She began her career working at Berhamsted Chiropractic Clinic before taking over Leighton Buzzard Chiropractic Clinic in 2003 - forming Chirozone and expanding a part time practice into a six room, full time clinic offering a range of treatments.

Jenny Weintrop MChiro (SA), DC(UK), ICCSP

Jenny joined Chirozone in 2011 following many years of experience in South Africa and England.  She enjoys treating a wide spectrum of patients (from babies to the more mature) and has a particular interest in improving health on multiple levels.
After graduating from the University of Johannesburg in 2004, Jenny initially practised chiropractic in Aylesbury before returning to South Africa where she ran a successful private practice.  In addition to her academic qualifications, Jenny is also a registered AXA and BUPA care provider.
Jenny is an Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (ICCSP); she has a keen interest in sport and was first drawn to chiropractic after suffering from a severe shoulder injury whilst swimming competitively.  A lack of prompt and correct treatment had an immense impact on her swimming, however, following chiropractic treatment Jenny was able to return to her sport.   Her experience of chiropractic has led to a passionate approach to injury prevention and early intervention, and to her wide experience of field side sport across many disciplines.

Living in Leighton Buzzard with her husband and son, Cole, Jenny enjoys being part of the local community. Although Jenny still enjoys swimming, it is now on a more leisurely basis.

Alex White - MChiro DC

Alex became part of the Chirozone team in 2015 after completing 5 years study at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth. Since graduating Alex has found particular interest in treating children and in postural correction. He enjoys the challenge of uncovering the cause of patient's complaints and getting them back into shape again.
Alex was a patient at the clinic as a child and has returned to his roots to join the thriving practice at Chirozone in his native Leighton Buzzard. Sport takes up most of Alex's spare time as he is a keen hockey player and enjoys keeping fit.

Sharon Sackey - MChiro DC

I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor since year 7/secondary school, when I observed my first chiropractic adjustment. From then my mind was made and I pursued my goal of graduating from the Anglo-European Chiropractic College; a goal I achieved in 2012. I have always had a keen interest in sports, fitness and performance.
During my final clinical internship year,  I had the privileged of working with semi-professional and professional footballers including Southampton Football Club first team. I was also awarded The International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS) scholarship for my contribution to sports chiropractic at university.
I have since thoroughly enjoyed working with athletes and performers of all ages during my time in practice. I believe we all have an inner athlete and I love helping people find and develop theirs. This may be in the form of preparing for a dance performance or having the ability to kick a ball around with the grandkids.
My sports knowledge has been the foundation in my number one passion for treating pregnant women. The amazing physical and emotional journey through pregnancy is not too dissimilar to preparing for a marathon or a big game. I love helping women enjoy a happy, healthy and pain-free pregnancy, preparing for their big day and beyond.
As well as my core chiropractic education, I have undergone additional training in Webster technique, pregnancy acupuncture, dry needling & sports rehabilitation.
In my spare time I love to travel, weight train and practice yoga.
